Some reminders for test days:
*Students need to bring their fully charged chrome book, charger, and any snacks, food, or drinks that they want for the day
*Students should get a good night's rest before the exam
*We will not release ANY students early on STAAR/EOC test days. ALL STUDENTS will be released at 4:05 pm. Please reschedule any appointments.
*The campus will be closed to all visitors on STAAR/EOC test days.

Good morning, Stallions! Here are some upcoming events at Morris Middle School to add to your calendar:
*Tomorrow (Feb 24) through Friday (Feb 27) we will be TELPAS testing. We will not be able to release students while the campus is testing. Please note: this state exam measures language proficiency and is not administered to all students.
*Benchmark testing for ALL 8th grade students will be Tues. Mar 3 (Science) and Thurs. Mar 5 (Social Studies). We will not be able to release students while the campus is testing.
*Benchmark testing for ALL students will be Tues. Mar 10 (Math). We will not be able to release students while the campus is testing.
*Open House is Tues. Mar 3 from 5:30 - 7pm
*Early student release Fri. March 13 at 1 pm

Morris MS is currently reviewing new transfer applications for students for 2026-2027. Login to Skyward today and secure your student's spot by completing registration and letting us know you will be returning.

It’s time! Today is the last day to drop off donations for our Morris Thanksgiving Food Drive! This is truly one of the best Morris traditions of the year.
Cutoff for donations is ⏰ *5:00 p.m.*⏰ TODAY!
All donations will be sorted and bagged with care and distributed to our families on Thursday, November 20.
The incredible generosity of our Stallion community, allows us to build 100–120 Thanksgiving bags every year. Thank you for helping us take care of our Morris families who need a little extra support this season.

Join us for Morris Night at UTRGV this Monday, November 17th at 6:30 pm at the UTRGV Fieldhouse as the UTRGV Men's Basketball team hosts Southwestern Adventist! Come out and support the Stallions as we learn about UTRGV and participate in the National Anthem, the welcome tunnel, timeout and halftime competitions, and celebrate our students’ accomplishments and enjoy performances from our Cheer, Royals, and Drumline! Last year we had over 600 Stallions in attendance!
