Congratulations to our incredible student-athletes on their outstanding performance at the Girls Powerlifting Regional Meet in Edinburg yesterday! 3 Regional Medalists – the most in program history! 🏆 Isabela Garza – 4th place, STATE QUALIFIER 🏆 Genesis Vazquez – 5th place, STATE QUALIFIER & BROKE SCHOOL RECORDS in her weight class: Bench: 185 lbs Deadlift: 305 lbs Total: 775 lbs Andrea Gutierrez – 5th place, STATE QUALIFIER & BROKE SCHOOL RECORD in her weight class: Bench: 215 lbs These powerhouse lifters will compete at the STATE MEET at the Edinburg Bert Ogden Arena on March 15th!
